If I’m not in-network with your insurance, you may still be able to use your out-of-network benefits. I can provide a superbill, which you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Every insurance company handles superbills differently, so it’s best to check with them directly. If you're interested in exploring this option, let’s connect.

I am open to discussing a sliding scale if needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

*if you do not find your question answered please reach out*

How often do we meet?

In order to build and maintain momentum, it’s pretty important to meet weekly. Once your goals are met and you’re feeling better, it’s suitable to taper off to bi-monthly. There are options to meet more frequently than weekly, depending on the need.

What does a session look like?

Each session will look a little different. Typically I will check in to see how the week went, recap where last session left off, and follow up on any “homework”. Then we will collaborate on what your focus of the session will be.

 How long are sessions?

Generally, I give a full hour, give or take a couple minutes depending on where it feels natural to end session.

How do we know when I’m done with therapy?

That’s always up to you. Once you feel you’ve met your goals, we will discuss reduced frequency of sessions or begin the process of ending treatment. If I feel that your goals may have been met, I will initiate a discussion with you about what future treatment may look like.

What if we start therapy together and it’s not working out?

Communicate that with me and we will end our work together and I can provide referrals for other providers who may be a better fit. Not everyone will be a good fit, so it’s important to work with someone you’re comfortable with.
